Anatomy by Bo

Anatomy by Bo

As a professor, Dr. Walter Bo delighted in "getting on the elevator, going to the fourth floor and teaching the way I want to teach." Over nearly a half century, multiple generations of students at Wake Forest University School of Medicine discovered Dr. Bo and his teaching style to be both a challenge and a treasure. He became a living legend on Hawthorne Hill, played a special role in shaping the education of his students, and will remain a memorable part of the School and his history.

Dr. Bo passed away March 21, 2009, at age 86, leaving quite a legacy. For those who would like to hear him speak again, this archive preserves Dr. Bo’s insights and perspectives. His voice in these recordings isn't what you may recall from a long ago “Gestapo” session, so you might want to turn up the volume on your speakers.
