At the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, our goal is to assist the investigators in our Medical Center in attracting and performing high-quality clinical trials. Wake Forest is dedicated to supporting clinical trials at the Medical Center and to providing practical expertise in the planning and conduct of industry sponsored clinical trials. Featured divisions for clinical trials include: Pediatrics, General Internal Medicine, Family and Community Medicine, Geriatrics and Gerontology, neurosciences, cardiology and Cancer.
Our clinical trials program evaluates new treatments for patients. It emphasizes research studies that are based on clinical and/or laboratory observations. Our goal is to develop improved treatments for patients with cancer through well designed and scientifically sound clinical trials research.
