Waste is received every Tuesday and Friday from 10:00am – 12:00pm

(If designated waste day falls on a holiday, EH&S will send an
e-mail notification of the next waste day)

MAIN CAMPUS - BOWMAN GRAY

Waste must now be entered on-line before bringing to waste room.

1. Label Waste Container with “Hazardous Waste”.

2. Label Waste Containers with contents. (Do Not use abbreviations).

3. Complete and submit an on-line waste ticket prior to bringing waste to the waste room located on E floor – Commons.

(You must be assigned to a PI as a user in order to submit a ticket)

Off-site campuses

To make an appointment to have chemical waste picked up by Environmental Health and Safety, please complete a waste ticket via the EH&S Website:

An on-line ticket must be submitted in order to schedule pick up.

Friedberg Campus

Chemical waste collection at the Friedberg campus is every Tuesday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm (by appointment only).

Submit on-line requests by 5:00 pm Mondays.

PTCRC, A1,
A1a, and BGTC

Chemical Waste will be picked up by EH&S on Wednesdays at the laboratory. This service will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm by appointment only.

Submit on-line requests by 5:00 pm Tuesdays.
