Geriatric Acute Care Rotation
This six-week rotation is based in the 15 bed Acute Care for the Elderly Unit in the J. Paul Sticht Center for Aging and Rehabilitaion. This unit is dedicated to the care of the geriatric population and their families in an interdisciplinary team approach. Our goal is to promote optimal quality of life with dignity and compassion while promoting independence. During this rotation, the resident will get to participate in daily medical rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings. They will also get the opportunity to assist in precepting Campbell University School of Pharmacy Pharm. D. candidates.
