Research Interest:

I studied the interactions of certain phospholipids with the flavocytochrome b558 component of NADPH oxidase in human neutrophils. Certain protein defects in NADPH oxidase have been linked to Chronic Granulomous Disease which involved the inability of the body to clear certain types of infection. My research is involved in this method of clearance.
