Modupeola O Akinola, MD
received her medical degree at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and completed pediatric residency training at the Long Island College Hospital/Beth Israel Medical Center, New York. In 2005 she started fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, which she completed in 2008.
Dr Akinola is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics whose research interests include elucidating the role of gene polymorphisms in prematurity and chronic lung disease.
