Beatrice Mihaela Stefanescu, MD
received her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, in Timisoara, Romania in 1991.She performed her residency training in Romania and at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. In 2001 she began fellowship training at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, which she completed June 2004. Dr. Stefanescu is currently working on her Master’s Degree through the Graduate School of Wake Forest University. Dr. Stefanescu is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and her research interests include neonatal thrombophilia and chronic lung disease.
