About
Welcome to the wonderful world of Oasis! Oasis is a focused collaboration between medical students, Alumni Affairs, Creative Communications and Academic Computing that is an anthology of artistry and literary expression crafted by students of Wake Forest University School of Medicine. It aims to provide students with a forum to articulate their triumphs and defeats, their concerns and their appreciation as well as their reflections on life. Oasis is an anthology, but more importantly it is a collage of personas and ideas, philosophies and ideals that mirror the depth and diversity of the student body. It is our pleasure to invite the alumni of the medical school and the Wake Forest community to this Oasis. – Mikhail C.S.S. Higgins, Class of 2010
Oasis was founded in 2006 by Mikhail Higgins, Class of 2010, and is currently run by a committee of students under the mentorship of Dr. K. Patrick Ober. If you are interested in getting involved or have any questions about the publication, please don’t hesitate to email us with questions.
