I began working for the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine as a lab tech in May 2003.  My first four years in the department I worked in a lab which focused on behavioral studies looking at the effects of drugs of abuse on learning/memory and reward.  I started working for Dr. Jones in April of 2007 and my current projects in this lab involve the running of HPLC, protein assays, ethanol studies and micro dialysis.
