Physician and Student Education
As part of an academic medical center, education is an important part of our mission. From offering lectures in the community to training medical students and residents, we are committed to sharing our expertise and furthering knowledge about urology.
Our faculty members participate in continuing medical education and training programs, and teach at seminars throughout the United States and other countries.
Community physicians are invited to attend our Grand Rounds and CME events.
Our Urology Residency Program provides a broad experience in clinical urology.
Our Endourology/Laproscopy Fellowship requires the completion of an accredited urology residency in the United States or Canada and that the resident be board eligible. In addition, we are working to offer a fellowship in pelvic organ surgery in beginning in 2009. If approved, it would be one of 32 fellowships jointly accredited by the American Board of Urology and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. |
