10th Annual Employee Juried Art Exhibition
Submission Deadline: May 29, 2009
ELIGIBILITY
Open to artists from the entire Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center community that encompasses employees, students, faculty, retired employees, volunteers and affiliates. (Family members are not eligible.)
Only two dimensional works, ready to hang, in any media, produced in the last 5 years
PRESENTATION
Work may not exceed 60" x 60" or 50 lbs. in weight
All accepted work must be framed and ready to hang with wire across the back (No Exceptions)
ENTRY INFORMATION
(PLEASE FOLLOW EACH STEP COMPLETELY)
Judging will be by either slides or photographs (up to 8 x10) - no framed originals
A maximum of 3 slides or photos, for 3 works of art, may be submitted for judging
Entry form is to be filled out completely for each piece submitted and sent with the submission
Some value is required for insurance purposes even if work is not for sale
Each slide or photo must be identified with the following:

artist name, medium, dimensions and top (use the attached work tag on back of this sheet)

Enclose an interoffice mail envelope or regular U.S. postage, Self Addressed Envelope to have slides or photos returned to you

Submit to Beverly FitzGerald, Creative Communications, via interoffice mail by Friday, May 29, 2009 (No Exceptions)
SALES
Artists may sell work privately
Work sold must remain hanging until the show's end

First Prize in Photo-Art - $225 First Prize in Hand-Art - $225
Second Prize in Photo-Art - $125 Second Prize in Hand-Art - $125
Third Prize in Photo-Art - $75 Third Prize in Hand-Art - $75

Slide/Photo submission DEADLINE –FRIDAY MAY 1 TO Friday, MAY 29 (No Exceptions)
Notification of work accepted - by early June
Deliver accepted work to Creative Communications, 1st Floor Gray, by TUESDAY, JUNE 30 (No Exceptions)
Closing of Exhibit / Artists Pick-Up Date, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 FROM 1:00 TO 3:00 pm
