Program Coordinator

Susan Butler, R.N., M.S.N., is the Women’s Heart Health Coordinator for the Heart Center of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.

Butler holds a Master of Science Degree in Nursing - Education Concentration. She has extensive nursing experience and is a certified emergency nurse, a critical care registered nurse, a certified bariatric nurse, and a trauma nurse instructor. Her positions at Wake Forest Baptist have included Weight Management Nurse Coordinator and the Chief Flight Nurse for the AirCare Critical Care Transport.

The Women’s Heart Health program provides community education, heart health screenings, and other related services targeting women. The Women’s Heart Health program will collaborate with other established health and wellness programs offered throughout Wake Forest Baptist.
