My interest is in chronic hepatitis C infection diagnosis and management. I have a special interest in the role of biochemical markers for staging of liver disease in hepatitis C infection, clinical research for using new strategies for treatment of chronic hepatitis C infection, and impact of mental health on the outcome of hepatitis C treatment. I also have an interest on the utility of active surveillance for the prevention of MRSA nosocomial infections.
