PhD in Molecular Pathology
Program Details: Seminar Requirement
Each student is required to present three departmental seminars during their graduate training, two of which are graded by the faculty. The first seminar is usually given in the spring semester of the second year and typically is a literature review of the student’s research area of interest. The second seminar is usually presented during year 3 or 4 and covers original research performed by the student. Traditionally, the third and last seminar is given just before the student’s final dissertation defense and summarizes the dissertation research of the student. All students are expected to attend seminar even if they are not enrolled for credit.
