Lipid Sciences
The Pathology Department's Section on Lipid Sciences offers research training for pre-doctoral students in the broad and expanding discipline of lipid sciences, with a particular emphasis on the relationships among lipid metabolism, inflammation, and chronic diseases. A PhD in Molecular Pathology is also available.

Comparative Medicine
The Pathology Department's Section on Comparative Medicine offers several training programs that provide the professional and clinical experience needed to pursue a career in academic or industry research, including a Master's Degree; residencies in Veterinary Pathology and Laboratory Animal Medicine; a Nonhuman Primate Clinical Residency; and fellowships in Comparative Medicine. There are also opportunities for summer fellowships, externships, and independent study.

Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
The Pathology Department provides training in pathology to all medical students; in addition, the Pathology Residency Training Program prepares physicians for the practice of Anatomic and Clincial Pathology. Fellowships are available in Cytopathology, Dermatopathology, Forensic Pathology, Hematopathology, and Surgical Pathology.
