Neurology Clinic
We are located on the 4th Floor of the Richard Janeway Clinical Sciences Tower. Our clinic boasts sixteen exam rooms, a two bed treatment room, and an Ultrasonology Lab. Limited on-site laboratory facilities are available for clinic patients, and research studies. Our waiting seats approximately sixty patients and visitors.
The clinic is staffed by twelve full time and two part time administrative employees. Reception, check out, records management, telephone messages, transcription, and insurance is managed by this group.
The clinical staff includes three RNs and three CNAs. One RN and one CNA are dedicated to the Epilepsy section. One RN and two CNAs support the general Neurology areas. The RN Nurse Manager is responsible for overall clinic operation.
Patient appointments are scheduled upon referral from another physician on a first available basis. Urgent appointments are scheduled with the Triage physician either the same day, or the next day.
The resident's Continuity Clinic offers another avenue for an expedited appointment. Every patient is supervised by an attending neurologist.
Our specialty clinics include Pediatric Neurology, Muscular Dystrophy, Neuromuscular Diseases, Alzheimer’s, Neurorehabilitation, Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases, Multiple Sclerosis, and Movement Disorders.
