Duty Hours
A physician's responsibility for continuing patient care transcends normal working hours. To fulfill this obligation, provisions for night and weekend call are established. The residency program director and resident committee will insure assignment of reasonable in hospital and home call coverage. The Department of Otolaryngology adheres to the guidelines established by the ACGME ( www.acgme.org ) during the residency program.
