Why WFUBMC: I entered my last year of pharmacy school eager to find a residency program right for me, but I was quickly overwhelmed with the large number of programs from which to choose. I soon found out that Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center offered everything I was looking for in a program such as a large list of rotation options which could be tailored to suit my interests, an academic environment conducive to learning, and opportunities to develop teaching skills by helping precept pharmacy students. Most importantly, however, I was looking for a place where I felt at home so I could gain the confidence I need to become a knowledgeable clinical pharmacist, and that is exactly how WFUBMC made me feel when I came to interview. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such genuine and well-trained individuals, and I am looking forward to a great year.
