PLASTIC SURGERY RESIDENT ROTATIONS
PGY 1
4 weeks of pediatric surgery
4 weeks of vascular surgery
4 weeks of trauma surgery
4 weeks of general/bariatric surgery
4 weeks of transplant surgery
4 weeks of ENT surgery
4 weeks of urology
4 weeks of orthopaedic surgery
4 weeks of Mohs surgery
4 weeks of plastic surgery
4 weeks of anesthesia
4 weeks of emergency medicine
4 weeks of private practice general surgery
PGY 2
1 month of pediatric surgery
1 month of endocrine surgery
1 month of burn surgery
1 month of oncologic/breast surgery
2 months of surgical critical care
1 month of ENT surgery
1 month of hand surgery
1 month of plastic surgery
1 month of plastic surgery research
2 months of private practice general surgery
PGY 3
1 month of vascular surgery
1 month of transplant surgery
1 month of trauma surgery
1 month of colorectal/biliary surgery
2 months of emergency general surgery
1 month of private practice general surgery
1 month of plastic surgery
4 months of plastic surgery research
PGY 4
1 month of Mohs surgery
1 month of private practice plastic surgery
10 months on the plastic surgery service
PGY 5
12 months on the plastic surgery service including hand surgery, microsurgery, hand and facial trauma, aesthetic surgery, breast surgery, complex wound care, hand and facial burn reconstruction, lower extremity reconstruction, and pediatric/craniofacial surgery.
PGY 6
6 months of outpatient aesthetic/cosmetic surgery
6 months on the plastic surgery service including hand surgery, microsurgery, hand and facial trauma, aesthetic surgery, breast surgery, complex wound care, hand and facial burn reconstruction, lower extremity reconstruction, and pediatric/craniofacial surgery.

Monday 5-6 PM: Corequest Curriculum Review with In-training Exam Questions
Wednesday 7-8:30 AM: Preoperative Conference & Faculty/Guest Lecture
Friday 6-7 AM: Joint Hand Conference with the Department of Orthopaedics
MONTHLY CONFERENCES
Tuesday AM: Mock Oral Exams (every 2 months)
Wednesday AM: Morbidity & Mortality Conference
Wednesday AM: Anatomic Dissections
Wednesday AM: Business of Medicine Lecture Series (every 2 months)
Thursday PM: Journal Club
GENERAL SURGERY CORE CURRICULUM
During the first two years of the integrated program, residents have monthly assigned readings on basic science and general surgery topics with review of ABSITE exam questions.
