Biographical Sketch
Sebastian Kaplan is currently serving as a member of the evaluation team for the School Health Alliance for Forsyth County, along with colleagues from UNCG and the Department of Pediatrics at WFUBMC. The evaluation team is responsible for several tasks, which include analyzing treatment outcomes for students receiving school-based mental health services. Sebastian is also exploring several other research opportunities involving the use of Motivational Interviewing to address treatment adherence for challenging medical conditions. Past research includes the use of threat assessment in public schools settings in response to threats of violence by students with disabilities. |
