A native of Sylva, North Carolina, Vikki graduated from Western Carolina University with a B.S. degree in Therapeutic Recreation.
Vikki has had been with the Medical Center since 1997 in the field of Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Aquatics. Prior to arriving at the Medical Center, Vikki worked as the Activities Director at the Nursing Center at Oak Summit, an affiliation of WFUBMC and worked at Forsyth Medical Center on the Adult/Geriatric Psychiatry Units.
Vikki is a licensed (LRT) in the state of North Carolina and is certified (CTRS) at the national level. She is involved in the Animal-Assisted Activity Therapy Program at WFUBMC.
