A native of Leland, North Carolina, Chip graduated from Mars Hill College with a B.S. in Recreation (Therapeutic Option). He has sixteen years of experience in the field, including fifteen at WFUBMC. Prior to working with his current population consisting of orthopedic, trauma, and medical/surgical, Chip worked in adolescent psychiatry.
Chip is certified in RT by the state of North Carolina (TRS) and at the national level (CTRS). He is a member of the North Carolina Recreation Therapy Association.
An avid hunter, Chip also enjoys camping, golfing, playing basketball and watching sports.
