Stacy Peterson, CCLS
Pediatric Oncology/Hematology
The most recent addition to the department and a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Stacy graduated this past May with a B.A. in Child Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
While a student at UNC/CH, Stacy participated as the Program/Activities Chair of Zeta Tau Alpha. She also volunteered with the Campus Civitans and with the UNC-Hospitals Pediatric Playroom for two years.
Stacy became interested in the field as a result of her volunteer work with the children at UNC-Hospitals. "I found myself looking forward to visiting the hospital each week and meeting new patients or spending time with those I met previously.
