There are a variety of different radiosurgery systems and three dimensional planning sysytems marketed. For the vast majority of lesions they provide very similar stereotactic radiation doses and similar results are therefore also expected. The decision between radiosurgery and conventional surgery is much more significant than the type of radiosurgical device and treatment planning software used.
