Principles of Diagnostic Ultrasound Lecture Series

This 6-hour lecture series covers the major topics involved in how modern ultrasound imaging and Doppler ultrasound work. Recent technological advances are included.
The lecture series serves three purposes:
● It provides an introduction for participants who are new to the field.
● It provides a review and up-date of recent technological advances for practicing physicians, sonographers, and other health professionals.
● It provides a review for participants preparing for the UPI, CPI, and VPI examinations administered by the ARDMS.
Topics within the series are: Sound and Ultrasound - Transducers - Instruments - Doppler Principles - Artifacts, Performance, and Safety.
