The Sister Study,
a national research study to learn how the environment and genes affect the chances of getting breast cancer, is enrolling women who have never had breast cancer, aged 35-74 but whose sister had breast cancer. 2008 AAMC Annual Meeting program now available: The AAMC has released the program for the nation's premier meeting for leaders in academic medicine, to be held Oct. 31-Nov. 5 in San Antonio, Texas. This year's meeting, titled "Creating a Better Tomorrow," will include more than 400 sessions focusing on specific issues of concern to the academic community.
